ROME, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Napoli continued its winning streak since the beginning of the new Serie A season with a 4-0 away win over Sampdoria on Thursday.
The Partenopei entered Thursday's game with four consecutive victories and broke the deadlock in the ninth minute as Lorenzo Insigne's floated cross found Victor Osimhen who threw himself to cushion a volley into the net.
Napoli made it 2-0 in the 39th minute, as Hirving Lozano sprinted down the right and squared for Insigne, who laid it off for Fabian Ruiz to release a snooker-shot.
The away side added the third in the 49th minute with a great team move when Lozano rolled across for Osimhen to redirect it, before Piotr Zielinski smashed in a missile to seal it 4-0.
Napoli now ranks on top of the table with 15 points, two ahead of Inter Milan and AC Milan.
Also on Thursday, Roma edged past Udinese 1-0 with Tammy Abraham' winner, while Lazio held Torino to a 1-1 stalemate thanks to a Ciro Immobile's penalty in the dying minute.
